Why I started Kathryn Walks Dogs

My active involvement in the dog rescue community has since deepened my expertise in understanding and supporting dogs who may have individual needs or are more sensitive to the city environment, reinforcing that every dog thrives with a unique approach to their exercise & mental well-being.

I founded Kathryn Walks Dogs to provide that precise, compassionate alternative, ensuring every dog receives the tailored attention they deserve & fostering a happier, more harmonious home.

My passion for animals has been a guiding force throughout my life & I have been offering pet care services for over a decade, evolving through caring for family pets and building a clientele independently.

The true catalyst for Kathryn Walks Dogs, however, was my own rescue dog, Luna. Her struggles with anxiety around new people and her clear discomfort with traditional, high-traffic dog walking services exposed a significant gap in available care.
